Overload Painting

I call this style “Surcompop” (surrealism, comic, pop art) This continues my mental health series by addressing PTSD. I’m bringing awareness to some lesser-known aspects of each diagnosis. Someone with PTSD could be your perfect “Leave it to Beaver” dad next door or the business man or woman you work with. My guy is reacting to the viewer’s seemingly “normal” existence and actions in a negative way. The structured black and white world he’s created has been enriched, but is this a good thing? Color is better than black and white right? ...maybe not from this man’s perspective. He’s experiencing more of a sensory overload from it. A black float frame is included with purchase!
