Learning how to paint allowed Yanina Eberhard to reach an artistic former self suppressed for far too long. She has taken many classes and workshops with renowned artists in Canada. Nevertheless, she believes it is of utmost importance to experiment and practice as much as she can on her own. Her style is impressionistic with a tendency towards realism, and her creative and captivating works are one of a kind. To make sure of their uniqueness, she spends all the time needed before applying the paint, to make sure her message will be delivered. The emphasis sometimes is light, often is color, at times is drawing, and every so often is just a feeling. She makes use of experimentation and oil techniques such as "Alla Prima", glazing, dry brush, painting knife, impasto, and many others as a language to reach her goal.
