A moment of the day Painting

Painter, illustrator. Lorena Iavorschi is a contemporary Romanian painter whose artistic journey begins somewhere in childhood when she receives a few tubes of oil paint without obtaining any instructions for use. She begins to paint on small pieces of unprepared canvas - often cut from her father's shirts. Years later, she attends courses at some art schools, paints icons and face painting. Since 2005, she works as a mural painting restoration assistant. Old churches and hard but particularly beautiful work bring new artistic and moral values. Oil is by far the preferred medium, but she also experiments with other mediums such as acrylic, inks and the combinations between them. She discovers the beauty and versatility of gold leaf. Conquered by the decorative and graphic element, she is still looking for the balance between them and the pictorial image.
