One hundred dots decoupaged images from vintage encyclopedias and mounted geometrically. I collect and sort hundreds and hundreds of images from antique books. I group them by theme and over time amass enough of a certain theme to create an artwork. Some of these little images are from vintage books of up to approx 70 years old. I am particularly drawn to the vintage imagery that's created using old litho print methods. The colours of the landscapes are often a violet or green hue. The old plates are carefully extracted from the books, and bonded onto birch plywood boards giving them a textured hand-painted surface texture. The sheets are then laser cut into these 3cm dots. 55cm x 55cm Framed in a white box frame. We use museum quality UV perspex glaze to protect the artwork from fade. Carefully wrapped and packaged inside a custom-made box with protective corners for safe shipping worldwide. Share

Abstract artist, Amelia Coward is renowned for her explorations into mixing, blending and grading colours, with a growing international profile. Born in 1975, she holds a 1st class Honours from Central St Martins and MA from the Royal College of Art. Her artworks can be found in both private and corporate collections worldwide. Amelia creates artworks that focus on the interaction of colours combined with the carefully composed spacial balance between geometric elements such as circles and stripes. Influenced by her woven textile training she uses laser cutters much the same way as she was trained to use a loom, cutting geometric shapes then reassembling them in patchwork compositions. Located in a traditional Oast Barn in the Kent countryside, Amelia combines her prolific making of new pieces with her commercial giftware business, Bombus. Each influences the other. Amelia has a team of creative makers in her studio to help to assemble, photograph, frame and pack all the works.
