Solomiia Kulchytska - Hanynets - is a Ukrainian artist, her creative path includes different genres and techniques, among them art textile, graphics, mosaics, stained glass, monumental and oil painting. She was born and raised in Lviv - city known for its multicultural history and art traditions. She early developed an interest in art, both European and Ukrainian and decided to become an artist. In 1991 completed study at the Lviv National Academy of Arts at the chair of Art Textile and is accredited as a professional artist and a member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine. At first she was engaged in hand weaving, making a series of tapestries and mini tapestries, some of them are in private collections in Ukraine and the United States. She worked in the technique of cold and hot batik. In 1999, at the request of the private company Lviv Paper and White Products Factory ``Biblos`` developed a series of envelopes with images of Lviv (Rynok Square, Railway Station, Opera House, Potocki Palace, etc.). Later she began to seriously study the technique of Roman mosaic and from 1998 to 2017 she made more than a dozen mosaic panels and icons on sacral themes in the churches of Lviv and Zakarpattia regions. In addition, engaged in sacred monumental painting. In 2016 she started doing oil painting.
