Reconfiguration Painting

The orange background diverts the first glance from one of the characters, the reconfigured one. One half is turned in a different direction than the other. The painting was created in the author's 'Absence' series. The series is about a man, identity, alienation and differentiation from a uniform crowd/background. The headless figures symbolize the absence of the figure, mental or physical, the interpretation is up to the viewer. The artist likes black outline and solid colors. Like most of his paintings, it is painted with acrylics due to its quick drying and application of new layers.
