ABOUT THE ARTWORK

The bravery of fire fighters often goes unnoticed, especially in my country Nigeria. these men put there lives on the line to save lives and properties. This photo shows an exhausted fire fighter walking away from a gas explosion site, after succeeding in putting out a fire which claimed over 200 lives in Abule-ado lagos Nigeria. The minimalist position of the man in the middle of the ruins was what drew my attension to this image.
