Quince Print

This is another piece in my series of still lives. It depicts a scene of washed quinces, with the water drops just hanging on, sitting on a wooden table with moody shadows all around. The painting is done in the style of the ‘old masters’ meaning it is done with some special techniques, including different layers of paint on top of each other, and a finishing layer of glazing paint, to make te details pop out. The painting is then covered with a layer of varnish, to protect te piece forever and to make the brush strokes stand out even more. This wonderfull piece will look good in every home or kitchen, thanks to its timeless classy appearance. It will be sent without a frame, so you can find one yourself to match your own style. Or hang it as it is without a frame.
