ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Kamala Harris has shattered many barriers. The day she became the vice-presidential nominee, I knew I had to paint her portrait as part of my series, "Women Who Shatter Barriers!" This is my second painting of Kamala. She is now Madam Vice President, so I chose a flag background for this portrait as part of my "Patriotic Series" which includes portraits of Joe Biden and Dr. Fauci. Kamala continues to inspire the hopes and the dreams of young girls and women throughout the United States. I hope when you look at this portrait you feel her pride and patriotism that inspired me to make this oil painting for you!
