ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Shelter in Place has inspired this series of paintings, each one numbered for each day SIP was/is in effect. I explore a range of energies and feelings, but mostly the elevated emotions like joy, love, gratitude and peace This is because I finally and miraculously have the time to create every single day. I've been deeply wanting and needing this time and space for decades, but life didn't allow it, so my gratitude is a large part of these works. I used mostly high flow acrylics, on heavy weight paper.
