Working from a video that I took while free-diving, I created this phosphorescent painting of a family of baby Alo'ilo'i (Hawaiian Damselfish) being nursed by a Cauliflower Coral. I loved their white strips, large eyes and child-like game as they darted in and out of the Cauliflower Coral. This painting is part of my 2016 Oceanscape series that channels the theme of, "Nurtured by a Hostile World."
