ABOUT THE ARTWORK

The artwork must be framed and hung on the wall. THE WORK IS MADE WITH VERY DURABLE MATERIALS, highest quality acrylic / vinylic colors as Fabriano paper of 200g UNICUM piece My composition are reflection on the concept of time as a subjective and cultural memory, connecting the archaeological material to our contemporaneity. Represents an "itinerarium pictum" inspired by ancient signs and drawings, of the Cucuteni - Gumelnita culture and interpreted in a contemporary way. Through metamorphosis are the tools of my evocation, images composed like memory impulses in an open space. Writing, the letters become images. The work is part of the PICTA series. Starting from artistic silkscreen printing, I developed a my personal technique to create UNICUM artworks painted in layers, by hand and applying silkscreen printing by hand, to create sharp images whose strong and clean chromatic impact supports the materiality of the colors. The beauty of this technique also lies in the trace left by the layer of ink that passes through the screen mesh, and in the vibrant intensity of the colors, that Memoria incisurae.
