ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Inspiration of the works The creation process is the expression of my soul and it is also a way consoling my heart. Just do it with a pure and innocent way, letting go of the theory, touch and feel every line and piece of colour on canvas. Maybe in the period of middle age, I don’t like painting object clearly and realistically,and just want create something that belong to my own life. No matter what the painting will be, the expression of my soul matters. I like the lotus pond with light fog in the early morning, the hazy scene inspire me a boundless imagination. We can’t see the world clearly because it is so complicated. As a Chinese proverb says “No fish can live in the water which are too clean”, the happiness of life will leave away when you do everything in life with a excessively smart way, so I favor the beauty of dim and hazy scene, and like the simplified world. In every work, the orderless lines are put into a atmosphere of illusion, making it like pieces of quiet fog, but with indescribable great power in it. It is the feeling I like most in life, just paint and live with a simple way. Just be at peace wherever you go.
