From the latest series of work, Erotic Theater, inspired by African, Egyptian, Japanese art, as well as comics and puppet theater from different cultures.The theater exists in a world between reality and fantasy. Unlike pornography, the erotic aspect is not intended to be a direct expression of sexuality, but to extend the conversation about the relationships between man and woman, between woman and woman and between man and man. This work takes on a print-like quality. The first phase of the process involves drawing, which is used as a basis for creating stencils and very intentional use of color.The work is framed, behind colored perspex screen. The perspex is an integral part of the piece.
