"My art is a combination of photography, encaustic, and painting. I transfer images directly into beeswax, and embellish with colored wax mediums I make from oil-based or powdered pigments. I enjoy the wide range of possibilities inherent in this technique - the evocative and distressed tones, and especially the additive and subtractive qualities that come along with the process.
