ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Playing with the brush without any preconceived idea, letting the water do its work, finding at the end a stain that could give a clue by going around the paper, and choosing a title that could match correctly with what you think you see. The main image should be turn to the left if the viewer wants to see how the original drawing was created. A base of different blues occupies the central area. These blues were contrasted with complementary and opposite colors. Once the watercolor was finished, I rotated the image until I discovered something that could be a subjective perception from these watercolorblots, similar to what it is done with the inkblots of a Rorschach Test. The final result seems to show an adult speaking with a child.

Born in Brownsville, Texas (USA), 1962. Raised in Madrid (Spain), I returned to my hometown, Brownsville, after fifty years to get to know it better. The unique melting pot of cultures, unique to Brownsville since its founding, is a constant source of inspiration and a positive influence to know other places, new challenges. The wet-on-dry technique allows me to control the pigment, while I achieve chance through semi-transparent layers and or dripping using the wet-on-wet technique.
