ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Inspired by the depression that many are feeling from this pandemic. I wanted to bring to light what some may not want to speak about. I created the image of the woman with oil and painted the black in acrylic. My hope is for the viewers to observe how depression may feel. My view on depression is of someone who is blindly walking through life, fighting shadows and not knowing when it will stop. The black represents the emotion and the woman is the fighter.
