Birds have been a prominent subject in Persian poetry for centuries. The works of poets such as Rumi, Hafez, and Saadi often use birds as metaphors for love, freedom, and spiritual longing. The image of a bird soaring through the sky or singing on a branch symbolizes the human soul’s yearning for transcendence and union with the divine. Islamic geometry art is another major influence on my bird paintings. This form of Islamic art is characterized by intricate patterns and symmetrical designs that are created using compasses and rulers. These geometric patterns often symbolize the order and harmony found in the universe and reflect the complex interplay between unity and diversity. In my paintings, I seek to combine the lyrical qualities of Persian poetry with the precision and elegance of Islamic geometry art. I use vibrant colors, bold lines, and intricate patterns to bring the birds to life and evoke a sense of awe and wonder. The birds themselves are often depicted in dramatic poses, capturing their grace, strength, and beauty. Through my art, I aim to celebrate the beauty of birds and explore their symbolic significance in Persian culture. By integrating elements of Persian poetry and Islamic geometry, I hope to create a visual language that speaks to the soul and invites viewers to contemplate the deeper meaning
