Melting paradise – Series of painting, created in 2017-2019 in Greece. An attempt to capture the ambiguity of a country struggling with an economical crisis while still being identify with leisure activities and summer respite. Vibrant and disturbing colors, almost postcard like compositions comprise vague sense of torpidity and despair. Commenting on subject so convoluted and elusive may be challenging, same as estethicaly expressing the beauty of a paradise-like place without loosing objectivity.

Her works have been featured at solo and collective exhibitions in Poland, GB and USA. Aleksandra has experimented with several mediums, such as acrylics, ink, gauche, but the oils tend to be her most preferred medium. In her works the artist attempts to interpret reality thorough her own artistic resources, simultaneously maintaining a semblance of realism. Her art is inspired by her own environment, treating the subject merely as an excuse for the search of artistic form. Aleksandra was working as an animator for Loving Vincent project.
