The main object of this project is a human face. With a quote paraphrase of the famous Russian writer Chekhov, I observe the human face as a "mirror of his soul". How often do we see however somebody's true face? One mostly endeavours to keep his emotions private and shows rather a mask to the others. Yet sometimes the soul comes in sight for a short while and they can see then what is hidden behind the mask. In my paintings I tried to convey these fleeting moments. Nevertheless the human face is for me not only the mirror, that allows me a glance behind the mask, but an instrument, which helps me to recall viewer's mind to the certain subjects. My art is an attempt to discuss these themes with the viewer. The painting itself and its name give the viewer an idea of my reasoning. Surely everyone has got his own image of the world around us, therefore each viewer will develop and unfold the theme in his own way. What do you think? Your opinion is important to me!
