Have you ever participated in a regatta? Wow, this is very dynamic exciting, and impressive. I created this painting with a competitive atmosphere The sun's brilliance on the sails, waves, and splashes from the racing yachts do not leave us indifferent to this event. Several sailboats with golden sails are depicted gracefully gliding across a calm body of water under a pastel sky. The reflections of the boats shimmer on the water's surface, adding a sense of tranquility to the scene. Off the coast of Cyprus, you can periodically admire such a parade of yachts. We often follow the rushing yachts on the waves with our gaze. A little bit of a romantic adventure under the sails and attempting to maneuver the yacht yourself is a dream for many. I believe all dreams should come true. The abstract style helps to enjoy the colorful transitions. The artwork is made with acrylic, gold, and silver glitter. The edges are painted and the painting can be hung without a frame. The strokes done with a palette knife give volume and expression to the painted lines.

A painting is a melody that plays with the sounds of emotions and beauty in our head and heart. To me, each painting is a piece of life - a life that lives on its own, on its own terms. You start from a blank canvas, and like creating music sound-by-sound, you add each new brushstroke, each new color, creating harmony, beauty, and a new experience for a mind to absorb. From the chaos of emotions and imagination, a new balance is born in each painting. I am Galina Vasiljeva, a full-time artist. Originally I am from Lithuania, now I live and create in sunny Cyprus. I have completed my art education in Klaipeda, Lithuania. Since that day, I haven't stop experimenting, trying out new ideas, and improving, letting my imagination guide me. My paintings are mainly inspired by nature, architecture, and everyday life. To create my paintings I use my technique based on the knowledge of the techniques of old masters and our contemporaries. I participate in competitions and exhibitions. I travel a lot and I try to transfer the beauty I see around the world onto the canvas. My works are made with oil paint and acrylic on canvas, applied with palette knives and brushes. I like to share this life with others, bringing it into their homes. Through my paintings, I want to give happiness, confidence, strength, and the beauty of the world surrounding us. So that everyone can enjoy their lives.
