Edie Supriyanto was born in Banyuwangi 1974 and now lives in Malang, East Java. Indonesia is known for its paintings which are rich in symbolism and close to nature and spirituality. One example of Edie Supriyanto's work that stands out is a series of paintings depicting human figures fused with natural elements, such as trees, land and water. These paintings often use natural colors such as green, brown, and blue which create a calm and harmonious atmosphere. One of his famous works, entitled "Towards the Light", depicts a human figure walking towards a light source which symbolizes spiritual enlightenment or a journey towards a better life. In this work, Edie uses visual metaphors to convey moral messages and reflections about human life in the midst of the universe. Edie's paintings often contain elements of philosophy of life, with themes that invite the viewer to reflect on human existence in a broader context, both from a natural and spiritual perspective. His works are also often present in contemporary Indonesian art exhibitions, making him one of the most well-regarded artists
