Lauryna Narkevičiūtė is a Lithuanian visual artist specializing in new media. Her art merges the physical and digital realms into three-dimensional art pieces. In this era of rapid digital advancement, Lauryna responds to emerging complexities and challenges, exploring the intricate connections between technology and humans. Her work stimulates dialogue about the dichotomy of desire and anxiety, progress and destruction, reflecting the multifaceted aspects of our increasingly digital existence. Lauryna began her artistic practice at the Vilnius Academy of Arts in 2010, earning a Bachelor's degree in Photography and Media Arts, which laid the groundwork for her expansive visual creation approach. Over fourteen years, she has broadened her scope and refined her techniques, developing diverse art projects that include CGI art and design, 3D motion graphics, audiovisual installations, and art prints. In 2023, she earned an MFA in Fine Art: Digital from Central Saint Martins, University of the Arts London. In addition to her personal projects, Lauryna embraces interdisciplinary collaborations with professionals from various fields. Her fine art works are exhibited worldwide, while her practice expands the boundaries of both fine art and the commercial art field, contributing to a broader dialogue between these contexts.
