The use of maps and routes seeing from above is getting more and more usual in the town where I live. This day by day life experience enters my work as an enthropic landscape. There is a sort of geometry in the fitting/unfitting of the fields,which is done in the act of painting. Inside the canvas limits I create areas of tension and silence, I superpose and juxtapose layers of oil colours and beewax. I use colour and matter in order to create formal relationships, hierarchies between mass territories and colour fields, noises and I control the clear cutting of the stencils. The artist, with his work, leaves in evidence the transformation in the forms of representation that have been in the landscape spiral chronological development of Man.
