Magnus Sellergren is an artist from Sweden, currently based in Halmstad, Halland. He began his artistic journey in the 1990s within the punk rock scene, creating fanzines and later artwork, flyers, and record sleeves using cut-and-paste techniques and a Xerox machine. Inspired by a childhood love of comic books and the bold visuals of pop art, Magnus's style also incorporates the raw appeal of exploitation movie posters, VHS sleeves, and propaganda art. His aesthetic draws from the vibrant and rebellious energy found in underground and countercultural movements. Having found his artistic voice, Magnus is now focused on building a portfolio. His work blends diverse influences with dark humor and occasional satire, aiming to create visceral pieces that evoke strong, deep emotions.
