I was impressed by a photo of the Italian actor Roberto Benigni in his specific enthusiastic way of talking to people. This is my tribute to him in a black and white frugal painting.
The realism of the composition interested me only in specific areas. I have focused on the hands and gestures, since often the dialog is mainly visual because of hand moving.
I wanted the enthusiasm of persuasions to be noticeable. The portraits are reduced at their presence only. The left character is concave, which is a sign that he receives all of the speaker's message. I wanted to show the airy atmosphere of the theme by painting everything in light gray tones. Which is light — optimistic, serene. This is the color of the message. The fact that he is painted horizontally creates his equilibrium, stability and comfort.
The support is rigid, the painting is acrylic. A white frame would suit well. Or lighter shades of gray. The picture is unframed.

Delivery Time:

I have tried many painting styles and techniques over time. Now, I am more oriented towards exploring fine textures that we find in the real world, the richness of their diversity, seeking the expression of a world full of rich meanings, subtleties, but above all a serene vision of the world. So, I draw inspiration from the real world, but I like to transform it, adding quotes from it too, to express richness of spirit, metaphor, fantasy worlds. I am also interested in what is fragile, mince and insignificant.
