I take the dog ("Croquette") Print

After her divorce my character is telling she will leave taking the dog named Croquette. Just in case she is holdin a gun in her pocket to be sure things will be done properly. "Repair / liberation of speech" in this series of "Be perfect and shut up". This imagined female creature was inspired to me by French models from the 50s to 70s, fascinating me with their great class and beauty. Frozen on glossy paper in an impeccable pose, always strictly, impeccably dressed, fitted, adorned, molded in a corset or conical bra ... I enjoyed interpreting their true intimate thoughts. They come back to us today like ghosts / holograms to deliver us their shameful secret, the drama of their condition as women, often with humor, in a liberating sentence (written in French, typography of magazines of the time) directly on the work. At the start I draw the work in red criterium, then I add touches of color and white. Each digigraphie is provided with its certificate in a pocket stuck to the back of the work.
