At present, Whitney moved to Mallorca, Spain. Her first solo expo on the island is about her relationship with a very old friend; the sea. "LOVE LETTERS TO THE SEA" is a homage, a story of how her passion of collecting items at the beach transformed its way into her work. All her sculptures are made with broken coral/shells/stones from the beach. "I sincerely hope my work will enhance your love for mother nature. That you have a deeper connection with her and yourself. Pure beauty, as in pure soul, is able to inspire us all to contribute to more harmony and peace in this troubled world." -Whitney Ruzzi

Whitney Ruzzi is an artist born in Belgium (1990) with Italian roots. She is currently active in Mallorca, Spain. She has always been an observer of life. Observing people, animals and nature gave her a better understanding of the simplicity and complexity of life. Even as a child, she was hyper aware of her senses, trying to absorb what she was feeling, hearing or experiencing. Her surroundings became a part of her. Absorbing this energy made her sensitive and caring and gave her the desire to create. It is in this desire she started to look for ways to express herself through different artistic forms, such as cinema, painting and music. After years of creating and exploring, Whitney chose to turn her love for the artis into a profession. The CARA COLLECTION - a series of beautiful imperfections of the soul - was her first collection and solo expo (2018). These colorful abstract portraits are reflections of the raw inner self, with the goal to encourage people's imperfections. After her first solo expo, the urge to explore the connection between spirits and the earth triggers her move to Mallorca. She wanted to connect on a deeper level with what inspires her the most: nature. The beautiful island gave her the inspiration for a second solo exhibition: the TARA COLLECTION (2020). A venture to make people fall in love again with Mother nature. This is the common thread in her artworks: an own artistic and creative interpretation of the fusion between mankind and nature. "I sincerely hope my work will enhance your love for mother nature. That you have a deeper connection with her and yourself. Pure beauty, as in pure soul, is able to inspire us all to contribute to more harmony and peace in this troubled world." -Whitney Ruzzi
