ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Serenity - acrylic, oil pastel, charcoal and graphite on raw canvas (100x60cm / 39.3"x273.6"), stretched, unframed, signed on the front and back. Shipped from the artist's studio in Portugal stretched or rolled in a tube with a certificate of authenticity (shipping method can be discussed post purchase). From the Unleashed collection, a series of paintings was born from a mental and emotional state of being released, free and unrestrained. It was inspired by the stunning seascape of the coastline where the artist resides in Portugal. It embodies being lost in the creative process, yet feeling confident that no mistakes can happen. I hope this collection will inspire you to listen to your inner voice and unleash what must come out. Serenity tried to capture the feeling where everything stops. Inspired by a specific location the artist often visits, with golden sand, misshaped rocks, and the white foam of the ocean waves revealing and covering the coastline. Knowing everything is ok. Now is what matters. No feeling is final as Rilke wrote.
