Portrait in Three Colors by Enrique Pichardo is a unique visual exploration where abstract figures converge to construct an irregular face on a canvas that comes to life with a vibrant color palette. The dimensions of this painting are 20 x 25 cm, executed in acrylic on canvas. The predominant tones are two variations of green and orange, intertwining in a chromatic dance. Green, in its tonal variations, unfolds in the artwork, infusing freshness and vitality into the portrait. The duality of this color evokes the complexity of human nature, while orange adds warmth and energy to the composition. The face, constructed by abstract shapes and lines, takes on a peculiar and unique expression. Blue, white, and black contribute additional contrasts and nuances to the canvas. Blue, in energetic strokes, suggests depth and mystery. The painter, Master Pichardo, is a colorist by essence, using vibrant tones to convey his message in his works. As a primal painter, he showcases the originality of visual art through contemplation—occupying, driving, stimulating, and delighting. Joy and delight prevail in his brightly colored works, marked by a childlike quality in his strokes. The uniqueness of his pieces has led galleries from other countries to take interest in Master Pichardo's work, bringing his canvases to exhibitions in their countries and conquering continents beyond.

The Mexican plastic artist, Enrique Pichardo, has more than 30 years of experience as a painter. His technique and style combine artistic influences from other countries with the traditional Mexican influence. In his own words, he defines his art as naive expressionism. The plastic work of Enrique Pichardo has more than one aspect. On the one hand, he creates works that are densely populated with shapes, figures, and colors. On the other hand, he has abstracted urban landscapes with a neutral color palette that recreates everyday situations. However, the special characteristic that maintains the cohesion of all his pieces is the conviction of approaching art through a return to his childhood and his first traces. Paint like a child, paint with more expression than technique, paint with feeling over technique. The painter seeks the skillful strokes of his inner child to carry out each of his pieces.
