Born 1960 in Tychy, Poland. 1988 emigration to the Federal Republic of Germany. ...eventually his studio became too cramped for the artist; he rushed out, OFF TO THE GREEN. Role models are Van Gogh, Monet and David Hockney, who also took to the outdoors in all weathers...Chrobok has always devoted himself to different forest areas in his work. His love for the VITALSTOFF tree, greenery as well as the sky is stirring. Chrobok enters the fray the canvas in show of force that characterizes "action painting", i.e., like Pollock and Karel Appel.
