DESPERATION Painting

The fallen angel is the most critical piece. It fell from the sheer shock of seeing what we have done to this world. The fall was hard. It's sadness and disgust. The front man tied in cloth represents action. In this case, lack of action. All can be better, but we choose it not to be. We CHOOSE it not to be. Do you wonder why? All can truly be better. Why do we make it worse? With our lack of compassion, lack of appreciation, lack of love for ourselves, why do we sabotage ourselves? There is a voice that yells in the background. A soul that is aware, that has become untied. It waves its arms, it needs attention. But we ignore it. Time passes, years, decades…bodies fall. All becomes hollow. A flower grows. Everything is recycled. Time watches. It oversees. Time is always there, so is it even real? If time is a constant in both sides of the equation, then why not cancel it out? All is seen and understood by another entity. A force that has always been and will always be. It ties all. It comes from above. It shines. It’s patient. It has to be. It is us, and we are it. Eternally bound to each other.
