Born into a world of diplomacy, Darcy Borg cultivated a love for art across the globe. Growing up amidst the diverse cultures of Iceland, Malaysia, Italy, and France; she absorbed inspiration. She was heavily influenced by her aunt, a professional painter, who inspired Darcy to create. Darcy would go on to MICA for college, but her artistic journey took an unexpected turn when Lyme disease forced her to medically withdrawal. Undeterred, she resurfaced in Los Angeles, skipping the traditional college path to join AFI, the top film school in America. Darcy thrived as a film editor collaborating with Oscar Winners. However, A detour to spiritual reconnect followed, leading her into mountains while becoming a yoga teacher. When she came down from the mountains she settled in Arizona and after a stint in the new’s circuit, she won an Emmy! Darcy’s heart still yearned for fine art. Finally in 2023, she embraced her true passion by returning to painting and achieving her true dream of being a professional artist.
