ABOUT THE ARTWORK
(#3 from my Bottle Cap Series) While growing up in the 50's and 60's I can remember the thrill of pulling an ice cold bottle of soda out of cooler (we called it pop on the west coast) on a hot summer day when I walked to the park or the pool...or even a driving vacation with my family— most cars didn't have air conditioning back then. These paintings are an affectionate tribute to those simpler times.
