ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This painting was inspired in a series of situations I lived through my life, where I managed to save friends from embarrasing, vicious, difficult and dangerous situations, some of them being life or death situations. from those experiences I made a promise to protect everyone who wishes to stay by my side. It's expected to show the viewer a way to see the fears of people, incarnated in demons who attempt to ambush them. Myself being the big entity with blankets who touches heaven imply the image of salvation. The style obeys the idea of encountering heaven and demonic vices on earth. Therefore, a bright light with a dark background implies the opening of the heaven in the middle of a hell on earth-like ambience to repel the vicious demons, which are dark a and ominous. the people represented pretend not to have fears by showing themselves indifferent, while the demons represent them anyway.

I am very aware that details count, and that is what I translate in each piece of work I do. I mainly approach the dreamlike / mystical self-portrait, with a lot of realism, however I am passionate about landscapes and nature themes. I usually work including abundance of elements in my artworks so they add messages that help build the esence of the scene I'm creating.
