My whole life I was interested in putting the unseen on paper. The perception that constantly escapes truth. I was obsessed with finding a genuine relationship with perception without judging, sometimes deeply despaired by not being able to express what I envisioned or felt. This was the reason for the start of my spiritual journey after working in Berlin as a professional artist.
I moved to Wisconsin Dells to attend a spiritual school called “Endeavor Academy” and stopped painting or creating objects for 12 years.
2011 I started to paint again: privately without the need to show my work to anyone. Painting is a very intimate occurrence. It is adventure. Going where I never have been before. Disregarding past references (which is impossible I admit). The art of taking thoughts and letting them guide you and meet the non-conceptual and abstract.
I view life as an artistic laboratory, and my work emerges from it. Mighty powers seem to stir, and through a miraculous giving in, become a route, a gesture, an adventure that touches me and transforms my perception constantly.

The space between things, that awareness beyond the reachable, seems more important than the things themselves. I was able feeling its divinity. It seemed never possible to look at this directly.

My work is driven to discover the moments in myself that are “informed“ by a new, unforeseen direction, a wink, a movement, a communication. Following directions and see what happens. Intimacy with the moment.

My drawings or paintings sometimes take weeks, months or years to complete. Every gesture has meaning, yet my work can look like child’s play or quickly drawn sketches. They are ancient maps for a present need. The Diary of an Alchemist was born.
