“Parade of The Worlds” is my attempt to convey the interaction between geometric and organic shapes within a unified space. I used red and green tones to create contrast and dynamism, capturing the viewer’s attention and evoking both tension and harmony. The central figures in the painting are two black silhouettes with heads inclined, reminiscent of icons. Above their heads, there are halos: silver for the figure on the left and golden for the one on the right, resembling a crown. These halos add an element of sanctity and mystery, emphasizing the significance of these figures in the composition. The figure with the golden halo features a stylized representation of a female breast on its black body, suggesting it is a female form. The figure with the silver halo is likely male. However, these interpretations remain speculative, leaving much unresolved and adding to the painting’s enigmatic quality. The diagonal arrangement of the composition plays a crucial role. Central figures and most geometric forms, some resembling celestial bodies (moon, stars, or planets), align along a single line, creating a sense of movement and interaction. It could be a formation, a dance, or even a parade of planets involving angels. Inspired by Russian avant-garde and abstractionist masters, I aimed to create a work that elicits an emotional response and invites contemplation. Influences from Kandinsky and Malevich are evident in the use of pure forms and colors, as well as the pursuit of spiritual and emotional expression through abstraction. Each shape and line on the canvas holds meaning, forming a complex composition that invites careful study. I wanted viewers to discover something new each time they looked at the painting—an ongoing dialogue between the forms and colors on an intuitive level. This artwork is not merely visual; it’s an invitation to engage. I hope viewers find their own meanings and interpretations, interacting with the forms and colors in a personal way.
