The painting is part of a collection in progress, called "360 degrees", a metaphor of the circle of life as we should know it. It particularly represents the stage whereby we learn about discipline, and organisation, about the exactness of right and wrong, and we are trying to find out the answers to all our why's, driven by this urge, this passion of knowing it all, this feeling that there is more to it than just 1+1=2. The colours that I used to represent the humans are yellow (for enlightment- their heads), dark blue (to represent uniformity) and red for their legs (as they are driven by passion). Everything in the painting is linear, geometrically shaped to give the idea of discipline and at a closer look there are even child-like scratching on the canvas, scribblings of childhood, some hidden underneath the colourful surface, and some bolder, trying to emerge from that deeply organised pattern.

I am infinite. And I have been infinite ever since I first laid the first stroke of brush on a canvas. Every line, shape and color that covers my canvas comes from a living organism from the inside that I call inspiration. It feeds with people, with dreams, with realities, with reactions, with images, with almost anything that makes it tremble and shiver with desire to expose itself. To the world. To the unknown. To the outer life. To become...infinite. It all started when I was 8 years old, under the guidance of my uncle, who was a professional painter. I have never taken art classes other than my uncle's, who took the time to teach me all the basics and gave me the courage to try out whatever came to my mind. After pursuing a career of teaching, I founded a small foreign language school that I run during the day and in the evening I run a small art hub together with my boyfriend, George. We founded it last year, in June and we are happy to promote young artists, to organize art events and workshops that people are looking forward to in this beautiful city of ours.
