I am a normal person like anyone else but with a severe addiction to photography. I remember that when I was a child I really liked painting. I would go out into the countryside with a notebook and crayons to draw landscapes, unfortunately, my hands did not obey the orders that my brain sent and the results were very bad. Any of my classmates at school painted better than me. My father noticed this and told me: -I know you are not good at painting but I think I have the solution, Wait here.. - He left and came back with a small camera that he almost never used. He told me: -With this you will be able to put on paper everything you like and it will look exactly the same as you saw it. - Needless to say, I never let it go and 55 years later I still have the same addiction. About 10 years ago a photographer friend saw some of my photos and suggested I enter them in a contest. Coincidentally, I had seen a call for an important national contest organized by my country's government together with National Geographic and I decided to enter some. To my surprise, I won a first place. The prize was money and also a good camera. This made my favorite hobby even more addictive. Over the next 6 years, 10 more national awards including 2 more cameras made me consider dedicating myself fully to photography and perhaps being able to sell my work. "You're going to need to make some kind of name for yourself internationally," another photographer friend told me. So I started entering some international contests with some good results. I was twice in the top 50 photos of the year at the EPSON International Pano Awards, a third place at the FAPA Fine Art Photo Awards in London, England, a second place at a contest of the Royal Horticultural Society in England, a third place at the HIPA in Dubai in the United Arab Emirates and recently a second place at the Siena International Photography Awards SIPA 2024 in the 'Beauty of Nature' category. With these latest recognitions, I think I already have the foundations and the endorsement to start offering my work whose value is backed by the awards obtained and here I am.
