Growing up in NYC I spent most of my childhood doodling people and animals in the margins of my school books, daydreaming out windows, and lost in my own imagination. My love of art began when I was small, I was raised in the well-known artist community, Manhattan Plaza, surrounded by gifted creatives from all avenues of the arts. As a child through high school, I attended the private school, The Calhoun School, on Manhattan's Upper West Side which boasts such notable alums as Jordan Peele, Peggy Guggenheim, and Ben Stiller. I continued to study at The Arts Student League of New York, Parsons School of Design, SVA (School of Visual Arts), Lilla Rogers Studio, along with independent study under the portrait painter, Matt Held. Editorial Illustration, Children's Book Illustration, Figurative Portraiture and branding are among my main areas of interest. I work predominantly as an illustrator, painter, and art director for film and television. I am a member of SCBWI (Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators).
