ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This work is inspired by the Romanian Folk Tale "Everlasting Youth and Never-Ending Life" in which the hero leaves the castle of his parents in order to search for everlasting life. After a series of challenges he finds it but in the end, he chooses to come back to the castle long after everyone has died. This is a re-interpretation, imagining that the castle remains unvisited.

His compositions are surreal scenarios embraced by silence and solitude, a space where the unusual comes into play. Sometimes, through his works, Octav is trying to build the same energy that is transmitted to the audience by a symphony or a piano concerto, just by using composition and visual images.
