Inspired by the beautiful and unique Coogee Beach. Coogee was the first place I lived when I moved to Australia and I ended up staying there for over 3 years before moving to Cronulla. I think I can paint every corner of coogee with my eyes closed. Lots of good memories.

Bruno Mota is a Brazilian artist based in Sydney. He was born in 1983 in Santos, a beautiful coastal city in Brazil. Bruno started his career in 1996 as an Art Director working in several creative agencies and developing skills in multimedia and print design. After spending 13 years working with creative agencies he decided to focus his time towards creating art. Bruno uses acrylics to express his ideas onto canvas through bright block colours and is inspired by all the places he travels to. The works are vibrant and full of life, making each scene jump off the canvas. When discussing his creative philosophy, Bruno is inspired by a Jackson Pollock quote "Painting is self-discovery. Every good artist paints what he is". This eccentric world of Bruno’s bold abstract lines, striking landscapes and bold use of colour will enrich your own perspective of the world.
