ABOUT THE ARTWORK
I´m loving the feedback of this painting inspired by natural lava mat formations and their textures. It´s full of "hot" colors, positive energy and movement, with the shapes and deph. In this original and unique abstract painting you can see lava colors, mixed together to create a unique and original atmosphere. This should be a beautiful option to create special and good feelings and will grace any modern interior. The edges of the canvas are painted in a light beige color, simulating a frame. I used several acrylic colors painted with a painting knife. It's a high quality acrylic painting with texture, done on gallery wrapped canvas, the sides are painted in light beige color so, no need for framing. I'm an abstract self-taught artist based in Lisbon, Portugal. I’m a retired Portuguese Air Force Officer and my passion for painting started in an unexpected way back in 2004, when my daughter challenged me to paint a canvas…a canvas that would be the first of many.
