Mehmet Barış Özer was born in Ankara in 1980. He graduated from Ankara Anatolian Fine Arts High School in 1999. He graduated from Hacettepe University Fine Arts Faculty Painting Department. He adopted a style bearing the traces of surrealism during his university years and took part in two solo and four group exhibitions in those years. He opened his first personal exhibition at the "Palm Bay Hotel" Art Gallery in Kuşadası in 2001 and at the "Karaca Dershaneleri" Art Gallery in İzmir Karşıyaka in 2002. He graduated from Hacettepe University, Faculty of Fine Arts in 2003. He lived in Germany for three years after his graduation. He participated in 2 personal and four group exhibitions at the "Bielefeld" Art Gallery between 2005-2008. After taking a long break from her art activities for various reasons, she started to continue her art movement again by making pictures with coffee in various coffee and chocolate festivals held between 2015-2017. He opened an exhibition at the Next Level AVM art gallery in 2017. He continues his work.
