Enrique Pichardo's Escena doméstica is a composition in shades of gray, high contrast black and white. In the work there are three characters, in a particularly familiar and known space, with a decoration of a vase that despite lacking color, in the eyes of the author imagines a great colorful and conveys it through his funny strokes, striped and checkered patterns on clothing, details that give texture. Celestial motifs: stars and moon. So this scenario is in a nighttime setting. Lots of movement and two-dimensional depth, typical of Enrique Pichardo's brush. Acrylic on canvas 200 x 140 cm. Enrique Pichardo is a plastic artist with more than 30 years of experience as a painter and craftsman. His works have crossed oceans and are exhibited in places like Vienna, Spain, and Singapore. The technique and style of Enrique Pichardo manage to combine ideologies of the pre-Hispanic culture, a rich mystical civilization in culture, with magic and color, as well as distinctive symbols of precolonial inspiration, intricate decorative designs, and pictorial symbols. In his own words, he defines his art as a game with colors and shapes.

The Mexican plastic artist, Enrique Pichardo, has more than 30 years of experience as a painter. His technique and style combine artistic influences from other countries with the traditional Mexican influence. In his own words, he defines his art as naive expressionism. The plastic work of Enrique Pichardo has more than one aspect. On the one hand, he creates works that are densely populated with shapes, figures, and colors. On the other hand, he has abstracted urban landscapes with a neutral color palette that recreates everyday situations. However, the special characteristic that maintains the cohesion of all his pieces is the conviction of approaching art through a return to his childhood and his first traces. Paint like a child, paint with more expression than technique, paint with feeling over technique. The painter seeks the skillful strokes of his inner child to carry out each of his pieces.
