ABOUT THE ARTWORK
DETAILS AND DIMENSIONS
SHIPPING AND RETURNS

This painting is inspired both by my fascination with space exploration and by a lot of time listening to weird psychedelic music from the sixties and seventies. I'd like to think this image is the sort of thing a few bands might have thought would have made a nice album cover in about 1969, though ...

Patrick Lee was born in Clacton-on-Sea, England in 1972. His interests and influences include cinema, science fiction, ufology, cryptozoology, the paranormal, Fortean phenomena, conspiracy theories and psychedelic music. "I come from a very creative family. My mother is bestselling novelist Maureen Lee and my older brother Dave (aka Joey Negro) is a renowned DJ and producer. It was only in 2015 that I began to paint full-time." "My paintings tend to be a twist on something familiar, a weird or unusual concept, or simply an image or idea that I find interesting. I want my paintings to be a talking point rather than simply something pretty to hang on the wall."
