Insomnia is part of a collection of bodices and paintings that dwell with our feelings. A therapeutical work of art that helps me dissociate mind and guts and concentrate on what the stomach is really feeling without the interpretation of the mind. Have you ever felt that fluttery sensation of butterflies in your stomach? It's a poetic image of love yet when interpreted in different versions it gives me insomnia! The frame is a see through bodice sealed with an X- ray of my pelvic area, it acts as a container of my feelings. Inside there is a revolution of butterflies fluttering my stomach stirring dark thoughts.
