ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Among my works, I painted “en plain air” several landscapes. Most of them picture the hills between my region and Tuscany. I have always been inspired by these lonely rural houses standing against the woods, and by that unspeakable color of the hills at distance that dissolve into the sky in many shades of blue. It is so difficult to find that blue, "the color of distance". One day my dear old teacher said to me: " With color you can tell our land ".

I live in a little village in the Italian country side, where my everyday life is marked by painting and the wild birds that I feed around home. Nature is than my first artistic driving force. Nature and the balance with people, a balance that is sometime beautiful and flourishing, sometime harsh and painful.
