Submarine Painting

Jose was bourn in 1953 in Lithuania, in the family of an ordinary goverment official. The love of his parents and the amazingly beautiful nature of Lithuania, with its centuries-old pine forests and amber Baltic coast ispired back the future painter with a reverent attitude and love for the beauty of nature then. Jose regularly organizes his personal exhibitions, and exhibitions with other painters. And, its is distinguishing that his works have always attracted the attention of both ordinary admirers of paintings and professionals in this art form. The materials he uses tocreate his works which are unique in color and internal energy are the canvas, oils and the palette knife. And the use of the palette knife, indeed, brings freedom and lihgtness to his art works. In the early 200s, he held many of his exhibitions in galleries in France, Spain and Germany and, in 2007, he opened his own studio in the castle of his friend Antonie near Paris. That period was the most productive in the biography of the painter. Today, he is living and working in the convent of Franciscan brothers on a small island in the Mediterranean sea near Italy, where he is trying to get to spiritual improvement and creative endeavor in painting.
