My name is Shaon Khalid, I something like this work to do a lot with my camera, instilling feelings and moments in black and white. I'm originally from Bangladesh, and that is where I was born and have grown up — my world has always been surrounded by nature, flowers, and the beauty that lies within the simplicity of things. “It is a belief of mine that black and white photography removes the constrictions of time and space to reveal the subject’s soul momentarily in the simplest form. Each flower that I photograph tells me a tale of living, each landscape that I photograph, a silent song of nature, each shadow that I capture, an unglimpsed beauty. The scene becomes a part of me, imprinted in my memory, but through the lens, I can further amplify the feelings that all combined to create the scene. I travel the world, from quiet rolling meadows to urban towers, from the hush of forest glades to the crashing din of ocean waves. Every place I go, every scene I see becomes a part of me and I share that connection with you through my lens.
